Daniel Dingles hydrogen powered car

There is more than one way to run a car on water. You can use electrolysis to split the hydrogen and pipe the gas into the combustion chamber. Several different people and companies have been pursuing this concept for a while.

Daniel Dingle has been talking about his car that runs on water since 1969. He even has a foundation that represents him. However due to the power of government red tape and greedy conglomerates he has never really been able to fully capitalize on his invention. Of course, he would love to have been a multi billionaire by now and employing thousands of his fellow Pinoys in an industry that could enrich the lives of all Filipinos and drastically reduce their dependence on fossil fuels. However IMF has very strict rules about what industries countries it bails out can compete in and energy is pretty much at the top of the list. The Filipino Govt are bound by the rules they signed onto after the 1997 crash and the economic ruins left by the Marcos rule. It doesn’t matter that the people are suffering with most living on less than 1 US dollar/day and that the Philippines is entirely dependent on foreign imports for oil and gas.

Anyway here’s his concept which is taking off now with a couple of replicas in Japan and the US. lets hope the foundation can represent him so he is not completely left out of the profits that these companies are going to make.

His solution uses electrolysis to separate the hydrogen from the oxygen and then does one of two things. Either mixes it with fuel to greatly increase the range of a normal tank of gas or possibly burns it unmixed. The latter principal is unproven but Dingle adamantly stands by his claim.

Improved circuit design for plasma arc

Aaron and Peter at energetic forum have been developing an alternate design based on the gotoluc circuit. The main difference if I understand correctly is that Aaron figured out how to pull unused electrons from the arc to greatly increase the amount of voltage that is generated by the arc. He has run it upto 1000+ Volts before his circuit was fried. Wow!!!

Here’s his description:

Increase the spark effect with additional very low current photo flash capacitor.

To initiate the effect, a regular capacitor discharge is needed that bounces into a hv diode off the secondary input.

A CDI system that is common to any performance car enthusiast can be simply added onto a regular ignition system and is already suited for any rpm needed and for any amount of cylinders. That part of the system is already off the shelf. And maybe an MSD (multiple spark discharge) might work better if the booster caps across plug can keep up.

Then, just need secondary source across plug with diodes. Peter and I went up to 1000+ volts on the secondary source powerd by microwave oven power supply…frying over 20kv of of diodes in series (a couple hv microwave diodes in series). But the spark was tremendous.

The spark is enhanced by a high current pulse, but what is wanted is high joules impulse on the secondary. Joules climb by square of voltage in cap so that means it is easier to get a high joule punch from simply increasing voltage even with super low capacitance because that discharged in a small blip in time is very time compressed easily giving megawatt impulses from a tiny cap bank.

If it turns out that S1R’s method of using 120v at whatever amp pulses as secondary are easier and more effective I’d definitely go with it. But until we know exactly his own particular circuit, so far the evidence seems to show that the effect grows with super low amps but high voltage on the secondary booster input.

My spark amplifier vid was only one cap charged to wall voltage of about 160 peak..actually I measured up to 200v.

With the test with Peter…a little over 1000v and we were hardly even had the variac turned up to the primary on the microwave supply. I had about 8 X 200v 350uf caps wired in series. So that is 1600v cap at 44uf. And flash caps too so better discharge than high volt microwave cap or anything else.

Capacitor70′s tests

After s1r9a9m9 released his videos and due to the time they spent discussing the system on the yahoo group waterfuel1978, Capacitor70 has released his test results. First he started with a combined HHO engine and now it appears he has changed over to the plasma spark method too. Looking at his test setup it makes sense that the plasma spark method is much more convenient as everything gets done in one place and there is no need to carry around unstable hydrogen gas as it is nice and safe when it is compressed into water form.

Here’s his plasma spark engine first.

Next up we have some of his earlier tests with HHO.

Safety precautions

It’s important when working with HHO and electricity that maximum care is taken to avoid serious injury or damage to equipment, family, pets etc…

Here’s a little guide for how to do things safely.

s1r9a9m9 demonstration

Here’s the demo that s1r9a9m9 posted to prove his credentials.

Some people were questioning what the silver case was hiding. In the next vid s1r takes it apart and reveals that it is simply a custom built coil…

Powerful explosions. Very cool.

Just in case you are questioning the power that is available in Hydrogen explosion check out this vid.

*Hint. Turn up the volume to truly appreciate this demonstration.

Peter Lindemann’s Water Spark Plug Replication

There have been advances over the past few months with a method of creating a hydrogen explosion from water that is passed in contact with a high voltage electrical arc. This video shows the culmination of the circuit as designed and originally shared on the overunity.com by gotoluc after studying the system developed by s1r9a9m9 that is used on his own car which he claims to have driven for 30,000km so far at the WaterFuel1978 Group on Yahoo groups forum. This circuit was then prototyped and tested by several people on theĀ  energeticforum which in my opinion is where things start to get really interesting as the guys on the energetic forum are all serious engineers and knowledgeable amatuers with excellent working knowledge of the principals of electrical circuit design and all manner of things relevant to the work that needs to be done.
