Wave Disk Generator Engine

The team at the Automotive Research Experiment Station from Michigan State University have been developing a new prototype engine system that they claim can get 60% efficiency from conventional fossil fuels. They also claim the weight of the engine is significantly less than a standard ICE which greatly increases fuel economy due to weight savings. They are currently in the process of building and installing a functional system in a vehicle.

The engine has a rotor that’s equipped with wave-like channels that trap and mix oxygen and fuel as the rotor spins. These central inlets are blocked off, building pressure within the chamber, causing a shock wave that ignites the compressed air and fuel to transmit energy.

The Wave Disk Generator uses 60 percent of its fuel for propulsion; standard car engines use just 15 percent. As a result, the generator is 3.5 times more fuel efficient than typical combustion engines.

Researchers estimate the new model could shave almost 1,000 pounds off a car’s weight currently taken up by conventional engine systems.

They’ve used water in their engines

Here’s an interesting little promo for a book from Hypnow.fr chronicling water engines over the past century. Worth a read for anyone who doubts the long term research that has been suppressed or otherwise delayed from getting to market.

Jstadwater v8 Update

Jstadwater has got a full circuit hooked up now and is bench testing his engine before installing it. He is making very good progress so hopefully it won’t be long before he has a complete setup in his Tranzam…

gmeast update 3

gmeast has finished converting his VW to run on a 4 cylinder plasma spark setup.

He writes

Much less pungent odor from the exhaust. No smoke. Don’t need to choke to warm up. Solid combustion, better low end torque, and more.

Jetjis Electric Generator Update2

Jetjis is really making excellent progress with his electric generator setup. He now has the completed tooling and circuit revisions done so he can run a standard plug with the spark circuit and adjust the timing on the switches so that he can get a near constant feed into the plug. He is now ready to start experimenting with water as the fuel. The demo below is using normal fuel to make sure everything is running smoothly.

Jetjis adapted power generator update

Here’s an update on Jetjis’ work to get his power generator running on water. He is using gasoline for this test to confirm the basic functionality of the recent modifications.

In his own words:

This time I have attached a self made 2:1 gear speed reducer on the generator axis. An aluminum timing wheel with a gap is attached to the slower gear so that the optotrigger is switching only at every second rotation. This eliminates the waste spark that could cause trouble if you are going past TDC on the timing and use HHO booster. Also this reduces the electrical input power two times and allows the cap to charge for 2x longer time. Works like a charm :)

Nexus spark circuit

Bill Cozzolino of http://skyhero.com has fitted out a 4 cylinder vw engine with the circuit running on three plugs and drawing only 100ma to charge the arc.

Demo of reed switch circuit

Gmeast at energetic forum has made this demo that shows controlling water spark plug charge and discharge using a charging Triac and a discharging Triac triggered by reed switches.

Video shows an amplification of my last video using the exact same circuit but using a rotor & magnets to actuate the Triacs. This circuit consumes 12 Watts at 20 Hz. The faster the trigger rate, the higher power throughput and consumption.

Water spark test on a gas generator

Jetjis has made a video of his gas power generator modified to run on the plasma spark circuit. For this demo he is using gasoline but there is a distinctive increase in rpms when he powers on the plasma spark…

Plasma spark in motorbike engine

This is Revizals latest video showing the effect of the plasma spark in action while running his motorbike engine. He has hooked up a secondary plug out side the engine to show the effect that is happening inside. What is most interesting is he notices his exhaust is clear when the plasma spark is in action.
