Laperll has made some modifications to the NexuS circuit and is getting good results.
Laperll has replicated the Nexus circuit in his 4 cylinder engine. He is reporting that after correcting an initial mistake on the wiring he is now getting very good acceleration and much improved response while driving the car and no heat issues. He is able to drive to work and back without problems.
Bill has released a new video with his latest details and musings on the Nexus circuit. He has now driven his VW combi 4500 miles with the circuit in place and has results on plug wear, performance, mileage and exciting new discoveries.
He replaced his plugs after 2200 miles noticing they had obvious signs of wear. However they were still running. He is considering upgrading to higher quality plugs but intends to run them until he notices a performance decrease or they stop firing for testing purposes.
For increased engine power he reports that normally he would shift down to third to climb a hill but with the plugs running he was able to climb in 4th. Noticing a definite improvement in power response.
His basic record keeping of his fuel efficiency gave the following results:
14/15mpg highway
12/12mpg in town
17.55mpg average
24mpg best on flatland
He reports that this is a definite increase although he is not exactly sure how much it is…
We will need more extensive field testing from multiple sources to get a good over view of the increased fuel efficiency.
Bill Cozzolino of http://skyhero.com has fitted out a 4 cylinder vw engine with the circuit running on three plugs and drawing only 100ma to charge the arc.
